New WCC City Plan expected soon - find out more

Westminster Council City Plan

Maida Hill Forum Neighbourhood Plan must comply with the Westminster City Council City Plan.  This is WCC's plan for spatial development, including housing, businesses, air quality, green space etc. Consultation on the new WCC plan is expected late May/early June.

The current plan was adopted in November 2016 and is available on the website here. It identifies North Westminster as a priority economic regeneration area. It pinpoints ‘strategic sites for development’, including Elmfield Way, and mentions the need to redevelop the Prince of Wales Junction. North Westminster is closely linked to developments in Paddington where 1,000 new homes and 5,000 jobs are expected to be generated by 2031.

The City Plan is a key document for influencing the future development of the local area. People wishing to be informed of future consultations can email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
